Media Powerhouse were requested by Brands at Work to work with their designers to create a large impactful LED Screen layout that could be ground supported and would be capable of taking a full pixel mapped panoramic image. In addition, Media Powerhouse provided LED screen, video switching, video playback & multi camera system for their event at a remote site in Berkshire. The installation would be installed in a temporary structure measuring 95m x 35m x 16m.
Media Powerhouse installed seven ground supported 3.9mm LED screens (1 of 12×6.5m, 2 of 2.5×6.5m, 2 of 2×6.5m & 2 of 1.5×6.5m) and four flown relay LED Screens 5x3m. All screens were fed from a Barco E2, using Millumin media servers for VT & graphic playback. Media Powerhouse also provided the sync system to enable video, sound, light & conductor to be locked together for a one-hour live music concert.
The camera system consisted of Media Powerhouse HD PPU with four HDC1500 broadcast camera utilising J95x8.6 & three J40x10 HD lenses. Each camera and TX were recorded using AJA Ki-pro recorders. In addition, Media Powerhouse installed a hot head camera over the orchestra for the bird’s eye view.
Multiple monitors were used for stage foldback, backstage, green room, dressing rooms and production village to enable all involved to monitor the live action.
In addition to the main structure, Media Powerhouse designed and installed visual equipment in nine other temporary structures ranging from 4.5×2.5m LED screen through to 55in monitors all with VT & graphics laptops with video switchers.
All the above equipment was installed in 2 days and derigged in 1 day.
