.Media Powerhouse Rocks The MusicWeek AwardsFriday 07 May 2010Media Powerhouse, one of London’s leading AV rental services companies, announced today that it provided the sound system for the MusicWeek Awards ‘10 held April 15 at the London Hilton Park Lane. Media Powerhouse worked with live events specialist H2 Business Communication (H2), for the second year in a row, to deliver a range of equipment that included d&b line array systems, Yamaha Digital PM5D sound desk, Shure Type R radio Mics and a Yamaha LS9 for a monitor desk. The sold-out event was headlined by Duffy and hosted by comedian Stephen K Amos. The MusicWeek Awards is considered unique as it focuses on every sector within the music industry and includes categories on A&R (Artists and Repertoire), live, management and music production. It is therefore attended by some of the most influential figures in the music industry. Helen Kemp, Director at H2 said, “This is one of the most high profile music events on the calendar and it is attended by a highly audio-critical audience. So we needed the best-possible quality of sound. Our reputation rests solely on getting things right first time and nothing can be left to chance.
